I had the privilege of co-hosting our valued friend and trenchmate, Prof Akinyemi Onigbinde, during his brief visit to Abuja. My co-conspirator was Owei Lakemfa. (I love ‘conspiracies’!)
Akin had recently turned 70 and launched two volumes of his book, “The Manifesto of a Stubborn Goat” in Ibadan.
We thought Akin’s visit to Abuja was another great opportunity to celebrate the impactful life of our friend with whom we had shared many tall dreams in those remarkable days in Great Ife.
It was a lovely way to spend an evening in the good company of friends.
And, oh! Did we have fun!
